PS. Most translation files a little dated ... Also, if you're feeling a translator, please download the file, update it and send it to me .

For the translation I suggest you use Poedit . Once downloaded,

1. place the language file in the directory wordspew / lang on your computer (eg wordspew-fr_FR.po for French)
2. open it in Poedit,
3. click on the menu item "Catalog" -> "Update from the source,
4. translate phrases that remain to be translated,
5. send me the 2 files (. po and. mo) in archive format. zip or. rar

Wordspew Fixed a bug that I discovered only today ... If you add in your sidebar widget "Categories" in the form of a dropdown (combo) it created an error. In fact the id of the combo "Categories" in WordPress is "cat" as a field in the shoutbox: $.

Fixed an error that appeared regularly in the function jal_time_since "of common.php" Call to undefined function __ () "because at some point the file with no context does not" know "not the function is __ responsible for the translation of terms. To circumvent this, when there is no context I refer the string without translating it. This concerns only the dates (minute, hour, day, month, year) but will have no effect on the behavior of your shoutbox.

Wordspew After long months to update, almost regularly, the shoutbox, I spent some time to add many features.

Where to start ...

• The administrative interface is now almost completely in Ajax.
• The shoutbox can be completely empty without error
• In the administration, if someone adds a message appears in real time. Like online users (if enabled).
• The colors chosen for the look of the shoutbox appear in real time when you change them.
• You can easily add any theme to the shoutbox (example: Photoshop, blog posts etc..). To do this, select New Theme in the dropdown enter the name of your new theme and a welcome.
• You can use the avatars Gravatar , choose their sizes and positions
• Old messages are now archived.
• You can send a private message to any user (registered or not) by prefixing your message @ @ followed by the name of the person you want (ex: @ @ Pierre)
• You can now choose how easy and accurate (method based on roles):
  • Who can administer the shoutbox
  • Who can see the shoutbox
  • Who can see the archive of the shoutbox
  • Who can see the different "themes" of the shoutbox
• You can use a shoutbox with a specific theme on a separate page. To do this simply call the function like this on your "model" page:

  "Test" is the name of the theme chosen for the shoutbox.

• You can delete messages directly in the shoutbox, without going through the administration interface

Beware, the file-wordspew fr_FR.mo to be placed in the folder wordspew, the PO file is just to generate the translation file MO ...
Activate the plugin in the plugins page then go to Theme -> Widgets and drag the shoutbox where you want.
When you do an update, do not forget to disable / enable the plugin.
