Monday, November 23, 2009Google-maps , like most of my other plugins, I use this for hosting wordpress.org.
So much like Picasa for WordPress, in the operation nothing new except the port of the plugin on the WP repository and adding a link in the interface of the page "plugins". This is to allow you to access the settings of the plugin where you can enter your API key from Google or obtain and identify possible height and default width for your Google Maps.

Monday, November 23, 2009Picasa for WordPress plugin like shoutbox, and that of the Marquee, I use now for hosting the wordpress.org plugin. This is to make it easier for everything to update and easy access to changes in the plugin.
While in operation, but nothing new in the code, the plugin now supports ALL versions of WordPress 2.x to 2.8.x. Indeed, up to version 2.7 many widgets management was very different.

. First as the shoutbox, I use now for hosting the wordpress.org plugin, so no more worries for you when changing version you will automatically see the changes and can easily put the plugin up to date.
Then
- I updated the file from the site of scroller.js Markus (the script supports IE8 now correctly)
- I added the ability to set a width (in pixels or percentage) for the marquee,
- By clicking the "Settings" first appeared on the "plugins", you will enter, and more easily at the interface of the plugin parameters,
- display made in the plugin settings page, is separated from the input fields of the message for readability,
- The ticker is now waiting for the page is fully charged to appear.

Saturday, November 21, 2009 Pierre's Wordspew Good news for all WordPress MU user, the shoutbox is now compatible !
I added the ability to archive then delete ALL messages in the shoutbox table by adding a new button in the admin interface,
the list of archived messages is now directly accessible from the admin interface,
I added the ability to manipulate the records from the same interface (see or clear)
I removed the time-out "wordspew_archive.php" (he was refreshed every 5 minutes before), now the data is still fresh.
