Wordspew After long months to update, more or less regularly, the shoutbox, I spent some time to add many features.
Where to begin ...
- The administration interface is now almost entirely in Ajax.
- The shoutbox can be completely empty without causing error
- In the administration, if someone adds a message appears in real time. As online users (if enabled).
- The colors chosen for the look of the shoutbox appear in real time as you change.
- You can easily add any theme to the shoutbox (eg Photoshop, blog posts etc).. To do this, select New Theme in the combo box enter the name of your new theme and a welcome text.
- You can use avatars from Gravatar , choose their sizes and positions
- Old messages are now archived.
- You can send a private message to any user (registered or not) by prefixing your message with @ @ followed by the name of the person you want (ex: @ @ Pierre)
- Now we can choose an easy and accurate (role-based method):
- Who can administer the shoutbox
- Who can see the shoutbox
- Who can see the archives of the shoutbox
- Who can see the different "themes" of the shoutbox
- You can use a shoutbox with a specific topic on a separate page. To do this simply call the function like this on your "model" page:
"Test" is the name of the theme chosen for the shoutbox.
- You can delete messages directly in the shoutbox, without going through the administrative interface
- The code has been optimized to require fewer resources and applications on the server
- The administrator can delete one or more messages in the archives
- Any changes in the style sheet file or a parameter of appearance of the shoutbox is immediately reflected on the shoutbox but the stylesheet will be automatically reloaded from the cache of the browser next time.
- Some nice fade effects were added during editing, deletion and banning of records
- The display of the time since the last message is now displayed in real time.
- No need to ask regular users of the blog to clear their caches in response to updates to the plugin

Attention is the file-wordspew fr_FR.mo that we must place on file wordspew, PO file just serves to generate the MO translation file ...
Activate the plugin on the plugin page then go to Theme -> Widgets and drop the shoutbox where you want.
If you make an update, be sure to deactivate / reactivate the plugin.
