Google-mapsComme la plupart de mes autres plugins, j’utilise à présent wordpress.org pour son hébergement.
Donc, un peu comme pour Picasa for WordPress, dans le fonctionnement rien de neuf si ce n’est le portage du plugin sur le repository de WP et l’ajout d’un lien dans l’interface de la page « plugins ». Ceci afin de vous permettre d’accéder à la page des réglages du plugin dans laquelle vous pourrez saisir votre clé API de Google ou en obtenir une et définir éventuellement une hauteur et une largeur par défaut pour vos cartes Google.

Hi, thanks for the plugin, works well. Is there any way to keep the map from opening up the white location information box on loading. I would just like to show the marker instead.

for some unknown reasons, sometimes, Google maps doesn’t return the longitude and latitude parameters, preventing the plugin to work the way as it should… try with this :

I was really happy to find this plugin. My website will be using a large number of embedded google maps and it was frustrating to see the Iframe embed code get messed up every time I edited a page in the visual editor.
Now the maps can be embedded and stay in the correct format. However, now the maps don’t seem to display correctly.
The map I am talking about is on the bottom of this page.

Any advice or suggestions? The link seems to be set the right way, because when I click on the text that displays below the map « zoom in » it links to the correct page.
The plugin works perfectly but the map is centered – I’ve tried putting it into a table or using a tag but no luck. Any suggestions? The page is on « Final Project » (I’m a student).
What I need to do is have it aligned right and the text wrap …

i’ve willingly added a class (GoogleMap) to the generated googlemap, so i’m sure that by adding a rule where you will use the named class « .GoogleMap » you’ll can find a solution

Hello I have an issue with the Text color, as the Text of my theme is a light grey, [code] .TopContent { color: #EFEFEF } [/code] Which apparently carries over to the google map plugin as a default text color, how would i go about added my own text color so when people click on the waypoint the text is visible instead of hidden like it is now?

Merci pour le commentaire. Une petite question cependant. J’aimerais, quand j’utilise ton plug-in n’afficher que la carte de l’itinéraire (sans les direction). Est-ce possible à ton avis ? J’ai cherché dans les options de googlemap, dans les pages de ton plugin et même sur google mais je n’ai pas trouvé !!

Super ton plugin. J’ai eu le même prob que Vincent mais j’ai finis par comprendre que c’était parce que mes cartes, enfin mes itinéraires étaient trop compliqués, plutot trop détaillés.

N’arrivant pas à le faire fonctionner j’ai finalement utilisé un autre plugin.

La page n’affiche toujours pas la carte malgré le bonne URL et la bonne syntaxe (qui ce sont avérées être correctes dès le départ), que celle-ci soit saisie en mode HTML comme en mode visuel.
Pour info c’est une WordPress MU 2.9.1 avec aucun autre plugin actif pour l’instant.

je ne sais pas comment tu as saisi ton url mais en cherchant un peu, à partir des infos récupérées dans ta page, j’ai réussi à l’aide de l’url ci-dessous à afficher correctement ta carte

J’ai essayé d’intégrer votre plug-in sur un blog généré par WordPress MU et ça ne fonctionne pas.
Sur la zone de la page où la carte est censée s’afficher apparait « Chargement en cours… » mais jamais la carte.

Is there any way to change the map type? Even when I enter a URL that’s for the « Terrain » type, the map generated by the plugin is still a plain road map on the website.
If I use the same URL in a plain iframe, it shows the map type that I want, so the URL is correct.

j’ai jeté un oeil sur ton site et j’ai vu que, dans ton thème, tu ajoutais une ombre sous tes images. Donc pour « corriger » cela, il faut que tu ajoutes ceci dans la feuille de style de ton thème :
.GoogleMap img { background: none; }Ainsi les ombres portées disparaîtront dans tes cartes pas sur ton blog

Hi David, you have to use this syntax (without the space at the begining : [ map: the_url 50% 200] or [ map: the_url 500 400] and all should be fine
. The first value is the width the second is the height.

Great plugin, works a treat.
For some reason the « width » and « height » aren’t being recognised properly, and the default is being used regardless of my settings. Is this a bug?
